About Emerald Beach
Emerald Beach is one of the few best kept secrets for a holiday destination on the eastern sea board of Australia and quickly gaining popularity. Located on the north end of the tranquil Mid North Coast of NSW Emerald Beach is a breathtakingly beautiful coastal village positioned near the famous Look-at-me-now Headland just 15 minutes north of Coffs Harbour and 8 minutes south of Woolgoolga surrounded by the Solitary Islands Marine National Park Reserve, and Coffs Coast Regional National Park.
For a small village Emerald Beach has a lot to boast about gaining popularity because of its layback friendly relaxed and easy going demeanor. The village has everything, two great restaurants, Surf Street Café directly next door and Lahacienda 101, also Emerald Beach Pizza & Pasta dine in or take-a-way, a general store, bottle shop and hair dressing salon all within 500 metres.
Our guests love to explore the beautiful headlands and three beaches which provide a great venue and viewing platform for spotting the majestic humpback whales which can also be seen from inside the ArtHOUSE’s. The beaches are clean, and vast and renowned for surfing boasting an excellent beach break along with a southern left-hand reef break. Emerald Beach is also a great spot for fishing, all of the beaches offer a number of deep permanent gutters against each headland and persistent gutters up the exposed beaches, as well as rock fishing. If surfing or fishing is just too energetic, there are plenty of private spots out of the wind just for swimming safely, working on the tan and relaxing.
